Hotels And Swimming Pools
I've stayed in too many hotels rooms to count. I haven't been in one for a while, and so thought it would be a good time to reminisce.

Snowmobiling in Northern Ontario.

Working in Australia.

More from Australia.

Singapore. I love this picture.

Also Singapore... funny thing about traveling is that you go back to the same location over and over. I've been to this particular hotel several times.

Hong Kong.

Vegas. Been there for both work and play... not sure about this particular trip... hmm...

The bear came to Montreal with us.

Having fun in Vancouver.

Even more fun at Whistler.

And even more fun at we pushed further into the mountains of British Columbia.

Working in Sao Paulo.

Well, kind of working in Sao Paulo.

OK... just sleeping in Sao Paulo.

Totally working in Barcelona.

Definitely working in Rome.

Loving Rome... really...

Eating well in London.

Relaxing in Niagara Falls.

Vegas Baby... Yeah!!!

Wasaga Beach.

London.

London again.

More Vegas.

Even more Vegas.

Somewhere in Asia... I'm thinking Singapore.

Atlanta, I believe.

Might be Hong Kong, but I'm vaguely recalling Singapore.

Ottawa.

Air Canada - over the ocean... don't ask which one... because I haven't a clue.

London.

Paris.

Did I mention that I love Paris?!?

Berne. For years, Switzerland was like a second home.

Sao Paulo.

Sydney.

London.

Ottawa.

London.

London.

London.

London.

London.

Ipswich, England.

Cannes. Mmm.... south of France... mmm...

Cannes.

London.

And one more last one from London... (that is what happens when you commute to a city for several years... many, many pictures of the same hotel rooms, over and over...)

New rally in Tehran and an observer helicopter on Hejab St. Friday 07/17
Still protesting in Iran...
This is exactly why governments everywhere are trying to restrict access to the internet - to keep their people under control.
This is exactly why we must never go back to the prohibition of information.

Hot Day At Harbourfront
Hot, as in, super awesome!
Yes... fighter jets whipping through the sky (barely) at ridiculous speeds... Why? Dunno... Cool? Hell yeah! But freaking hard to take pictures of...
Wandering around on the boardwalks, and relaxing in the cafes... Life is good.
You know you are doing something right when you can hear streetcars whooshing by and birds chirping all from the same location.
The city is mixed in with the forest... Even the buildings have trees on their roofs.
We wandered down to the Ex, where the Toronto Indy was making noise.
The CN Tower is really quite big! Big, as in, really hard to take a picture of...
It is still a city though... and in it... you'll find my favourite building...
It's haunted, you know.

How about make a customer service training video?

Her Name is Neda
This video is eyewitness footage of a young woman dying in the streets of Iran, right before your eyes.
"At 19:05 June 20th Place: Karekar Ave., at the corner crossing Khosravi St. and Salehi st. A young woman who was standing aside with her father watching the protests was shot by a basij member hiding on the rooftop of a civilian house. He had clear shot at the girl and could not miss her. However, he aimed straight her heart.
I am a doctor, so I rushed to try to save her. But the impact of the gunshot was so fierce that the bullet had blasted inside the victim's chest, and she died in less than 2 minutes. The protests were going on about 1 kilometers away in the main street and some of the protesting crowd were running from tear gass used among them, towards Salehi St.
The film is shot by my friend who was standing beside me. Please let the world know."
This is the face of war. This is the face of a sick government killing its own people. This is the face of people peacefully saying no to tyrants who don't much like to hear the word.
Peace be with the family of Neda. Peace be with the people of Iran.
We, as one human race, have an obligation to help those who are trying to help themselves.
